"What the fuck" doesn't have to be a negative wording, its meaning can be that of misunderstanding a thing that is complex and hard to understand. Randomness can also be referred to with wtf. So we are endowing the phrase with a new perspective, implying matureness on something unusual but beautiful, that we can share with other deviants. That's why we have started a group to support a new wave of abstract art. If you think you fulfill any of these factors, feel free to apply.
Another purpose of this club is to unite people who believe that though something is complex, it doesn't have to be bad. I've met a lot of people who underrate good art because they don't understand it and don't even try to understand it.

We will also be selecting a "WTF of the Day" deviation. The selected deviation will be chosen for originality, humor, quality, and of course the deviation should make us say to ourselves "what the fuck?"
Deviations selected will be added to our favorites for everyone to see. If you have a deviation for us that you think qualifies for the "WTF of the Day" title, please NOTE us!

We are looking for artists who unify in originality, randomness and complete weirdness in their art. However, we are trying to collect only quality artists. In other words, what we really want is to find a group of people whose art has these qualities together with some effort or artistic thought.

To join, send a note or comment ON THIS JOURNAL. One of the administrators will evaluate the deviant's work and then depending on its quality, effort and meaning, will decide whether that person should be included or not. Please note that any efforts for inclusion of delusions to the word art will be abandoned, if you are trying to freak out people with your webcam shots you won't be accepted.
If you are accepted, please add us to your Journal to help this little community within a community grow. Remember we're trying to get talented people noticed and praised. This is not required, but still helpful and nice.
PLEASE NOTE that by becoming a member, you give wtf- the express permission to submit a deviation of yours as a deviation into the wtf- gallery. This is because we are unable to use the WTFOD title for members due to the policy preventing communities from using the favourites system to highlight its members. If you would prefer that we ask permission every time we wish to use one of your deviations, you must inform us. If you say nothing, we will assume you agree to this.
We will always credit the artist in the deviation title and in the desrip, as well as providing a link back to the original work.
